The plant floor

Max MES with Improvement Tools

The execution layer between your ERP and your plant floor. Production Orders released with intent, work centers loaded honestly, operations confirmed as they run, quality checked at the floor — and every loss recorded in the Six Big Losses vocabulary, so OEE is a fact, not a feeling. The full Improvement toolset is built in. Digital workers propose. Humans decide.

$1,999/month. No reasonably priced MES existed for the lower middle market. This is it. It also runs as a special surface in Max Business System Max Learning and Training.

628
Production Orders on the board: 218 open, the rest done or closed
1,884
operations confirmed across those orders
44
work centers loaded — the bottleneck runs at 88%
79.4% OEE
availability 90.5% × performance 91.3% × quality 96.2%
What it does

The floor, run on the same record as the office

An MES earns its keep in the gap between what the plan said and what the floor did. This one closes that gap in six working views, each reading the same records as your ERP — because it is built on it.

Release

Production Order Board and release

  • Every Production Order on one board, by state — draft, confirmed, in progress, to close
  • Release is a deliberate act: the release card sits at the top of the board, and releasing an order puts it in the floor's hands with its full routing
  • What is not released does not get worked — the board is the schedule, not a suggestion
Load

Work Centers and Load

  • 44 work centers with their real load, finite capacity — no infinite-capacity fiction
  • The bottleneck shows itself: the busiest center runs at 88% of capacity, and the board says so
  • Promises get made against load, so the dates you give customers hold
Execution

Operations and Confirmations

  • 1,884 operations across 628 Production Orders, confirmed as the work runs
  • Operators see one order at a time, with the current instruction revision pinned — not last month's printout
  • A held quality checkpoint blocks an operation's finish until a person records an exception: the gate is real
Losses

Losses and OEE, in the Six Big Losses vocabulary

  • Breakdowns and setups against availability; idling and reduced speed against performance; defects and reduced yield against quality
  • OEE computed, not surveyed: 90.5% × 91.3% × 96.2% = 79.4%
  • Every loss minute lands in a named bucket with a known fix — the knowledge base behind this app carries the fix methods, written from the floor
The Improvement toolset, built in

Execution tells you what happened. Improvement makes it stop happening.

Max Improvement was replaced by the Max Manufacturing Execution System — and its tools live here, in the name and in the app. The working loop is sense, decide, act, measure, learn: the floor senses, the record decides with you, the team acts, OEE measures, and the knowledge base learns. The teaching library built for the MEP network — the courses, the knowledge checks, the plant-floor curriculum used by instructors and students — is part of the app, so your supervisors learn the system in the system.

Quality at the Floor

Checks happen where the work happens, reading the same lot register as Max Quality and VSM Tools — one quality record for the whole plant, never a second list.

The Execution Record

What ran, where, by whom, with what result — the as-built history of every order, kept as it happened and queryable forever.

Andon visibility

The board the whole floor can see: what is running, what is held, what is late — while there is still time in the shift to do something about it.

Who it is for

Plants that run on whiteboards and end-of-day paperwork

The plant that finds out at month-end

Load, losses, and quality become same-day facts. The conversation moves from what happened last month to what happens this shift.

The plant quoted out of the big MES market

The established MES vendors do not publish prices for a reason. This one is $1,999 a month, unlimited seats, on the ERP you already run.

The plant whose supervisors carry the system in their heads

The teaching library and the knowledge loop turn what your best people know into how the whole floor works.

Price

The MES, priced like we mean it.
